Glove-boxes / Isolators for Highly Potent APIs (HPAPI) or Toxic Products

During the production and handling of highly potent APIs (HPAPI) or toxic products in gas or powder form, total product separation from the environment is needed to protect the operators. A negative pressure regime is maintained within the closed volume of the isolator and turbulent flow is generally adopted. The operator can access the inside of the isolator via glove ports or half-suit configurations. Negative pressure isolators are available for various applications, including mechanical or fluid energy mills, dryers, product synthesis, dispensing and sampling, formulation and packaging, laboratory, in process control and compounding.

FPS offers glove-boxes / isolators with containment levels from 10µg/m3 down to 0,01µg/m3, with different manufacturing solutions and configurations.
