Single-Use Technology

HECHT’s Single-Use Technology protects operators and products while cutting cleaning effort and downtime—ideal for frequent changeovers and highly active or hazardous powders (e.g., cytostatics, antibiotics). Disposable foil isolators (liners) replace fixed stainless isolators to prevent cross-contamination and speed validation. The portfolio spans single-use isolators for dosing, sampling, refilling and weighing, plus compact dosing hardware (FDS, rotary valve, dosing screw/valve) for hygienic, precise and contained handling. Options include inertisation and underpressure control, with fixed, mobile or wall-mounted frames.

• Single-Use Isolator (EWI) — Flexible glove-operated foil isolator with adaptable ports; optional patented external weighing (≥ 2 g in-bin); fixed/mobile/wall-mounted; inertisation & controlled underpressure.
• Single-Use Isolator EPS (Sampling) — Detachable foil isolator + adapter for high-containment sampling from small bins; rapid liner change; underpressure; compact/mobile (230 V, 1 bar).
• Flexible Dosing System (FDS) — Squeezed flexible tube meters flow without internal moving parts; accuracy to a few grams via integrated scale; de-bridging vibration; hygienic, compact integration.
• Dosing & Operating Stations — Regulate continuous/intermittent bulk flow; hygienic, reliable transfer bridging discharge, filling and handling steps under containment.
• Rotary Valve — Gap-/dead-space-free, fast to clean; precise flow, anti-bridging; suited to frequent product changeovers in food/pharma.
• Dosing Screw — Hygienic, quick-dismantle design; sealed outlet (gland/air seal); Ex option; volumetric or gravimetric dosing for free- or poor-flowing powders.
• Dosing Valve — Linear vibration (~300–500 Hz) breaks bridging and fluidises; one-piece gap-free body; coarse/fine flow control to bins, filters or downstream equipment.

Applications:

• HPAPI/cytotoxic handling in single-use isolator (EWI) — dosing, weighing, (re)filling without full cleaning/qualification.
• High-containment sampling from small bins without heavy PPE (EPS + adapter).
• Temporary closed transfer for campaign manufacturing; rapid liner swaps; short line clearance.
